Forthcoming Wonders
Oooh, I’m listening to Bohemian Rhapsody….what a great song…”I see a little silhouetto of a man. Scaramouche, scaramouche will you do the fandango-thunderbolt of lightning, very, very frightening me!” Ah, what great music. It brings a tear to my eye. So do my allergies, though, so maybe that’s not saying much.
Anyway, a great big HULLO! to everyone! Apparently I’m in a good mood right now. Today and tomorrow are my days off, and I’m taking Sunday off, and Monday is a stat holiday here. Yay! And Andy arrives at 3pm Sunday! Adventures! Though I need to go in to work today for a couple hours and finish some things off that I want to make sure are done before I completely forget about work for awhile. And the battery charger for my cell is there, for whatever reason I brought it there.
S.P.E.W!
“It’s time to raise the curtain on the Muppet Show tonight!” Another good tune.
Whoa, people are wearing parka-like jackets down here. What’s their problem?! Apparently we’re getting a ‘Severe Winter Storm’ or something, cause my weather informer thing is giving me a warning alert. Let me quote the best part:
“VERY COLD WINTER STORM WILL BRING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND LOW SNOW LEVELS THIS WEEKEND.” I love the ‘scattered showers’ part. Quite brilliant, really.
So how’s the weather in wintry Canada? 😉
Yeah, that’s about all I really wanted to say today. I gotta get that stuff done at work, so I should head out. Though I’m -really- not motivated to do so. I could just keep rambling about random things, like how I procrastinated working on paperwork yesterday by going to APeX Ministries site and taking note of all the links that were broken and which ones opened in the same window and which ones opened a new window, and writing it all up and sending it to APeX (or whoever answers their email) so that they knew. Though I get the feeling that they don’t really take much care of their site. Gene’s got a blog, btw, for those who are familiar with APeX. And they’ve gone to conferences in the Lower Mainland now, too. And they’re heading to Regina sometime this spring and Calgary next October. Not that I memorized their Canadian schedule or anything…that would indicate that I was intent on not doing work as much as possible. . I would, uh, never do that. That was just hypothetically speaking.
Yes, ramble ramble….”we are the symphony of modern humanity”…another good one.
Oi. Okay! I’ll get going! Force me, will you. Fine. Hope you all have a wonderful reading week, with the exception of Johnson, who gets to be in school. Let me know how things are going! And don’t forget to save up your frozen juice can lids!!!
Peace,
Jane
