Being outside in the evenings and being able to enjoy the last few weeks of spring. So beautiful and spring-greeny. Kids running across the grass at the church, free popsicles after Mass for everyone, and a lovely lilac bush scenting the whole area.

We went to Mass at Holy Spirit last night (where our friend Fr. Darryl Millette will be moving to in less than a month) because Andy had been attending a conference there. The gardens are well taken care of and perfectly lush. Even though the kids were more than a handful during Mass (5pm is never a great time for young kids…after all, this is typically a part of witching hour…) the joy of enjoying an ice lolly with them outside while enjoying the beauty of the earth was a great way to finish our trip out there.
