10 Years of Blogging

Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick.

That’s the sound our clock above the computer makes whenever I sit here. Rhythmic. Constant. Always progressing.

As I was looking over a few things on the website I noticed an interesting little fact: since 2005, there have been 601 blog posts here. I (and occasionally Andy) have written 601 blog posts. A number of the early ones were imported from my other blog (before we were married and had ajk2), but it’s been 10 years of blogging that’s archived here.

10 years.

Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick.

Since when did I become old enough to be able to say with ease, “That was 10 years ago”? Don’t get me wrong – I’m not over-nostalgic or anything. Just contemplative. There has been much that has happened over the course of those 10 years. So much joy mingled with bits and pieces of sorrow.

I graduated with a Bachelor in Theology.

I determined the University of St. Paul was not a good place for me (too high of an achiever!) to get a Masters in Pastoral Theology and abandoned that dream.

And here we are, 10 years later. Boom.

So much crazy awesome has happened in that time. It’s not hard to believe that there will be another 10 years of crazy ahead of us here – so much awesome!

Definitely looking forward to sharing all the joy and wacky adventures we are sure to have over the next years with everyone. Still trying to absorb the fact that it’s been 10 years of blogging. So very glad to have such great memories to remember over that time!

Loving God through my family, friends, and interactions in my world.
