On our Way

This morning is our morning in Ottawa as residents. I can’t believe how quickly time has flown by. The movers came yesterday and packed up our little world, then after we got the cleaning done, we headed to the hotel for the night, only to realise halfway that we forgot Spencer’s passport, and did we know if we had placed it in an accessible place? Or was it packed with the movers? A bit of a headache, but Andy found it once he went back to the apartment and went through one of our files. Hurrah!

Friends of ours stopped by the hotel in the evening for one last goodbye. We will definitely miss Allen, Cathy, Elizabeth, Kat & Marc – they’ve been such great friends and such a great part of our memory here in Ottawa.

This morning we drop my mum & Spence at the airport waaaay early, then we will head back to the apartment to pack up the car (now without a car seat) and then head out of town. Wish us luck and say a prayer!
