Life,  Liturgical Year

Ham Weekend!

Well, we won’t be celebrating Thanksgiving until Monday night (so that Katie can join us), but the preparations have already begun! This year is ham for supper, and we started prepping by buying all our gear for the tasty, tasty meal :). I’m so excited! I love feast meals!

In other news, I’ve finally finished canning my tomatoes, and now I’m working on making my tomato sauce. I skinned the tomatoes today (while getting updates on my phone about my cousin’s soccer game in the nationals from my uncle) and tomorrow they will be sauced. Hurray! I’m considering buying pears next….(“No! Andy! Don’t throw out my canning gear yet!”)

And here are some pictures from our week. Happy Thanksgiving!!

Loving God through my family, friends, and interactions in my world.
