Easter Monday

It is truly right
that with full hearts and minds and voices
we should praise the unseen God, the all-powerful Father,
and his only Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.

For Christ has ransomed us with his blood,
and paid for us the price of Adam’s sin
to our eternal Father!

This is our Passover feast,
when Christ the true Lamb, is slain,

whose blood consecrates the homes of all believers.

Welcome to Easter Monday! Resurrection day x 2! Today in our household we are celebrating with a Mexican Leg of Lamb! Succulently slow-roasted in tasty tasty Mexican spices and herbs. Yum!

We had a wonderful Easter celebration last night with the Servants of the Cross at their place. We had wonderful turkey and I think, perhaps, the most delicious stuffing I have ever encountered. This might be because, I was told, there was roughly a pound (maybe less) of butter in it…..but ohhh, yum!

And I’ve now finished my sewing project! My bag is done, and it sure does hold the world in it! You’ll have to see the pictures!

Have yourself a wonderful Easter Monday!

Eggs Benedict for Easter Sunday breakfast! (The hollandaise didn’t quite turn out, but it still tasted great!)

Crazy & fun afternoon at the sisters’ place!

Loving God through my family, friends, and interactions in my world.
