Wow! It's Hallowe'en and November is almost here! Where did the time go? We have been busy, but November will be a super-busy month for us. Well, especially me. Every weekend is nearly booked with something or other.
Boy!
If you haven't already heard the news, we're going to be having a little baby boy! And the due date changed slightly to March 11th.
He's apparently active, but I haven't been able to feel much of his movements. It was so cute - when the sonographer was trying to get a picture of his spine (his back was facing the front of my tummy), he kept trying to bump the device off my tummy by pushing his bum up against the wall of my stomach over and over. So cute! Already a personality!
Quick update - going for my ultrasound on Wednesday at 2pm, want to know if anyone has any guesses on the gender! For those of you who have picky superstitions, there are two pictures of me up in our galleries.
Will update with the official gender, as long as the baby cooperates, on Wednesday evening.
As you may guess from the picture, we're expecting a baby in early March! I'm currently just over 12 weeks along in the pregnancy, and overall, things have seemed fairly typical. I started having 'morning' sickness about the 5th week, which was really horrible. I could mostly manage to eat crackers, grapes, and water. We found a family doctor about a week later, and she prescribed me with Diclectin, which is an anti-nausea prescription, made of an anti-histamine and vitamin B6. I have to say, I am very very happy that she did. Although I was still turned off by many many foods, I could actually manage to eat again. And apparently it's only available in Canada. Again, I'm very glad I moved back, though obviously not for that reason at the time :).
