Large tooth

They keep getting bigger. Spencer seemed to have a rough night last night, but he needed no pain meds, just his soother. There are a couple of possibilities why, one being that his tooth pushed up more, the other that his room may have been too cold, another that he is going through a growth spurt. We’ll never know, but it wasn’t a great night.

So I got a picture of his tooth again today – it took about 60 shots to get this one good photo of his teeth. I also got some video of his crawling technique, which took a great jump today. Instead of doing a weird floppy type crawling, he’s now putting one hand in front of the other consistently as of today. And I need to rearrange the items in our living room, because he is not content to play with his toys anymore, not now that he can move so quickly. We’ll need to find some new places for items that we don’t want him into. Except the computer. Not sure what we’ll do to prevent him from that one.

He’s also started pulling himself up into kneeling position when he has something in which to balance himself. He’s sort of hit two levels at the same time. Nothing gradual about it. I think he will probably be walking relatively soon, which is just such a crazy thought. He’s our little baby! He can’t be that old yet! Much sooner than I was hoping for. Oh well, we shall figure this one out as well.

So here are some photos from today. I couldn’t choose.

Edit
No sooner did I post this that he took another leap. I wandered into his room to get him and he was standing in his crib:
