I have finally received some awesome news about my unemployment issue: I’ve been hired! Woohoo! I feel like I’m walking around like an idiot with this huge grin on my face all the time.
I received a phone call this afternoon from Fr. Jack in San Clemente, CA saying that the comittee thinks that I’d be a very good addition to their pastoral team and they’d like to hire me. Totally yay! So sometime in October I’ll be moving down to the sunny, sunny south (no snow this winter!) and getting settled and organised and all that jazz.

Yup, that’s my exciting news! Really, really looking forward to this, after months of agonizing unemployment.
In addition to this good news, Jackson has been making some good progress! He was able to sit up today and as far as anyone can tell (as I’ve been told), there hasn’t been any mental damage done, so he’s just got to work at relearning physical motions and stuff, like walking. But he’s definitely on the mend! Thanks so much to all those who’ve been praying for him!
That’s all the news for now. Peace!
